Every year PAC-UK offers a comprehensive training programme focusing on adoption and permanent placement specific topics. Some of these workshops and seminars are for professionals only, and some are specifically for parents and carers. Public seminars and conferences are open to all parties affected by adoption and permanency, including professionals.

Family Action Training & Consultancy
Family Action delivers a variety of open workshops to support professionals working in sectors as varied as adoption and fostering, adult mental health and wellbeing, and children and families. Find out more here.
Commissioned Training
PAC-UK is able to send trainers throughout the UK to provide training. This page lists topics from our main programme on which training can be delivered in a location of your choice. In addition, PAC-UK is able to offer bespoke training locally.
Enhancing Adoptive Parenting
PAC-UK can deliver commissioned training to social workers and professionals to become Parent Advisers of the Enhancing Adoptive Parenting Programme – a randomly controlled trialled parenting programme for use with new adopters of challenging children. This programme can also be used with all permanent carers. Contact us for more information.
