PAC’s Schools Trainer Julia Clements was invited to write this article entitled Stop children in care falling through the net for the TES magazine of 27 September 2013.

In the piece Julia argues that schools can help looked-after students to develop appropriate relationships with adults in a structured, nurturing environment.

The invitation to write for the TES follows the recent publication of A Good Practice Guide for Schools: Understanding and Meeting the Needs of Children Who Are Looked After, Fostered, Adopted or Otherwise Permanently Placed, which Julia authored.

The practice guide is available from PAC here, price £10 per copy with discounts for multiple and bulk orders. To date PAC has sold over 600 copies of the guide, including over 400 to just one of our subscribing local authorities.
