Key Information and Spokespeople

PAC-UK is the largest independent adoption support agency in the country with a network of qualified and experienced staff across a range of disciplines who are available to provide comments, information and advice on adoption or other related issues.

As CEO of the charity, Peter Sandiford is also available to conduct media interviews, in person or via telephone, at short notice (if based in London). For any opportunities outside London, please allow sufficient time for travel where possible.

During his career Peter has spear-headed significant projects including the NCB project Improving Educational Opportunities for Looked After Children, and the Inside Outside project working with birth mothers in prison and through the gateway as part of the Cabinet Office Social Exclusion Unit.

He is the current chair of the Consortium of Adoption Support Agencies, a member of the Adoption Leadership Board and of the Adoption Support Expert Advisory Group. He is also a trained social worker, family therapist and practice teacher.

If you would like to arrange an interview with Peter regarding adoption and other related issues please contact our Press Office.

PAC-UK Service User Case Studies

PAC-UK service users (adoptive parents, special guardians and birth parents), have shared their experiences of adoption and how PAC-UK has helped them overcome the challenges associated with it.

We have set up this page to enable birth parents, adoptive parents or other permanent carers to share their stories, and hopefully help encourage others to seek support from PAC-UK. If you are interested in sharing your own experience please contact us here.
