PAC-UK Support Groups

PAC-UK hosts a range of support groups, some are for Birth Parents and some are for Adoptive Parents. All groups listed below are informal, confidential and free of charge. Birth Parent Support Groups

PAC-UK Leeds Birth Parent Support Group

Our Leeds group meets at:

Our monthly meeting normally takes place on a Tuesday afternoon from 13.30pm to 15.00pm.

PAC-UK London Birth Mother Drop-in

This is an informal drop-in group where women who have lost children to adoption can meet other birth mothers to talk through their feelings.

The meetings offer a confidential space in which women whose children have been adopted, or are in other forms of permanent care, can talk about their fears, feelings and loss.

Birth mother's in any of PAC-UK's subscribing local authorities across London and the south-east can attend the drop-in at:

The Kentish Town drop-in takes place once a fortnight. It's free of charge and open to birth mothers who have been involved in care or adoption proceedings.

Birth Mothers who have relinquished a child for adoption

The support group for Birth Mothers who have relinquished a child for adoption is a self-help support group that meets 6 times a year.

The meetings take place on the second Saturday of every other month at our Leeds office. Meetings are from 11.00am to 15.00pm and members bring food for a shared lunch.

It is an open group and the meetings are very informal. The members of the group have varying experience of adoption, and can help each other through sharing their experiences and giving mutual support.

Silsden Support Group

We are a group of adoptive parents (mainly with children aged 10+) that meet on a regular basis in the meeting room adjacent to the Methodist church in Silsden, offering non-judgemental support, and a chance to share concerns and experiences.

We also have occasional speakers and social evenings. The group is friendly, relaxed and upbeat.

We usually meet on the third Tuesday of the month and warmly welcome new members.
